“Excellent Hotel!!!”

Grand Hyatt Seattle

The Grand Hyatt in downtown Seattle was beautiful to say the least. The shuttle from the airport took me directly there. The location of the hotel was great, as it was right in the middle of downtown. An easy 15-20 min walk to the waterfront was convenient. Buses all over the streets were easy to take and navigate.

The hotel itself is immense. The lobby is huge upon entering the front doors. The rooms are too extravagant and huge. The bathroom was about 3 times the size of any already huge hotel bathroom. It had a separate tub that could fit at least 3 people in it, a shower, and in between that a huge amount of space. The beds had down comforters and 6 pillows. The view was amazing. I could see the entire downtown scenery from the 12th floor. The closet was huge and contained a spare umbrella, 2 bathrobes, and more. Very quiet hotel as well.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave me a useful map and always helped me out with information about buses and public transportation. I would recommend this hotel to anybody in the world. You must come experience this!

“What a great hotel”

Grand Hyatt Seattle

5 of 5 stars
Michigan

This is an excellent contemporary hotel in a great location in Seattle. We stayed on a combination of business and leisure in May 2007 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Grand Hyatt. The room is small but clean and nicely furbished. The bathroom is spacious and has luxurious feel.

“Excellent and Very Comfortable”

Grand Hyatt Seattle

I used to stay at The W hotel in Seattle but now stay at this Hyatt. Beautiful rooms, great decor, some sides of the building do have a water view, great location, easy to walk down to the Pike Market, excellent shopping and sightseeing.

My only compliant was the Asian gentleman working the front desk who refused to print my boarding passes after the printer on the self serve Boarding Pass Kiosk failed, I politely asked the other Gentleman working at the front desk and he immediately printed the boarding passes for us.

Excellent Property for Business or Tourist
Highly Recommended

“Location OK, but darker than Darth Vader”

Grand Hyatt Seattle

2 of 5 stars
Spokane, WA

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt and was struck by how dark and dingy this supposedly four-star hotel is. The Starbucks in the lobby was probably one of the least inviting spots in this mecca for coffee. The staff was friendly but there is no view, difficult and expensive parking and difficult access unless you're a cabbie and know the city. There's no pool, and ugly architecture. Seattle Hyatt ain't so Grand.
