I spent Monday night and Wednesday night in this beautiful hotel (was called away to Knoxville on Tuesday), so I was able to experience two rooms. As someone who spends a lot of time on the road, I can honestly say that I've never gotten a better night's sleep . Most Residence Inns are very sterile with horribly thin walls. This hotel on the other hand is a thick old building that oozes with character. You can really feel at home there.

Both of my rooms were extremely clean and nicely appointed. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to the one bedroom suite on my second night, which is HUGE! I would highly suggest paying a little bit more for the one bedroom, as it's just so much bigger.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast was decent.

The only thing missing from this hotel is a pool, which is understanadable considering it's such an old building.

This was supposed to be my anniversary gift from my boss. I checked in on Valentine's Day. My heat was taking a long time to turn on so we left and when we got back that night after a nice concert, it still was not working and so we had to get the guy from the front desk to bring us blankets and we used those both nights that we were there. Our room was not switched or nothing. I will not return here for that amount of money. I can stay at a Hilton. Front desk staff tried to be helpful but to me they were fake and a bit sarcastic. They didnot look like your normal hotel staff which usually has matching uniforms and a big smile.

The service at this property is lukewarm - definetly hot and cold. One minute you encounter a very helpful persson and then 5 minutes later you ecounter apathy!

The rooms are HUGE, although they are in need of a re-do. The location in midtown cannot be beat, especially with the MARTA 1/2 block away.

Oh but the noise. In our room (211) we constantly encountered noise from the room on other side of us...at all hours of the night. And sometimes when you least expect it. One piece of advice: Use the earplugs they give you!!!!!

I had booked a room with 2 queen and 1 rollaway on a Friday night this month and it was perfect! The room was at least 1000 square feet, like an apartment that came with a full kitchen and balcony. This room was on the 5th floor and it was great. The room was only $159.00/night!! That's good for Midtown. The hotel was only 2 blocks from food, Publix, and the liquer store(which we loaded up) we walked to all these places and it took maybe 8 minutes. The beds were comfortable, nice T.V, and the fridge came in handy. I would definitly return.
