Almost all the restaurants in San Diego are kid-friendly.  Cheesecake Factory in Fashion Valley will give your child a special plate of sliced bananas and bread if you request a highchair (otherwise you just have to ask for the plate of goodies).

Wahoo's - A great place to eat with children.  There are two locations- La Jolla and Encinitas.  There are usually tons of kids and they all LOVE the food!  You can't come to San Diego without trying a fish taco, and this is the best place to have them.  They also have a lot of other tasty menu items, like their Chicken bowl and burritos.

Corvette Diner- in Hillcrest (mentioned in Family Travel) is a fun place to go with kids- it's a fifties themed diner with dressed up waitresses, loud music and good diner food.  The waitress throw straws and bubble gum on the tables and the kids go nuts!
